There's An Important Update About Website Where You Could Slap Aamir Khan

India's premier virtual assault destination this week has been replaced by another website.

A website lampooning Aamir Khan for his comments on intolerance in India seems to have been replaced by another website—one where you get to plant a kiss on the actor instead of a slap.

SlapAamir.com, based on old-school JavaScript tricks, came up on November 26 after the Shiv Sena announced a reward of Rs. 1 lakh to anyone who'd slap Aamir.

The website seems to have reached 7.7 million registered slaps, but it's unlikely any of those happy slappers is going to get a naya paisa out of Shiv Sena. 

“Dear intolerant citizen of India, thank you for slapping Aamir Khan. We’ll make sure that your reward reaches you,” the website read, asking visitors to update their Facebook and Twitter friends about their virtual assault on Aamir.

Four days later, SlapAamir.com is dead. It now redirects to KissAamir.com.

The site now says: "Dear tolerant citizen of India, thank you for kissing Aamir Khan. We will make sure that your love reaches him."

Since domain information on both websites is hidden, we can only assume that the same people were behind both websites.
